Peter has practiced at the commercial Bar since March 2013. Prior to being called to the Bar, he practiced as a solicitor for six years in a boutique commercial litigation and insolvency firm. He has a broad and diverse commercial litigation practice and has appeared in the High Court and at all levels of both the State and Federal Courts.
Peter has a particular focus on insolvency, shareholder and partnership disputes, breaches of the Corporations Act 2001 and the Competition and Consumer Act 2010, and building and construction matters. He has represented insolvency practitioners, large-scale property developers and builders, miners, solicitors, engineers, accountants, public media organisations, investors, graziers and publicly listed companies.
Peter is recognised as a leading junior barrister in Queensland, including by Doyle’s Guide as a leading barrister practicing in insolvency and reconstruction matters, construction & infrastructure matters, and as a leading commercial litigation and dispute resolution counsel.
