Alex has a broad civil and commercial practice.
He has acted for domestic and international clients across a range of subject areas, including equity and trusts, mining and construction, banking and enforcement, insolvency, estates, professional negligence, and income tax.
Alex holds a Bachelor of Civil Law from the University of Oxford, together with a Bachelor of Laws (First Class Honours) and Bachelor of International Business from Griffith University. He received the University Medals in Law and International Business as the top graduate in both degrees. He has also completed a Graduate Diploma in Taxation at the University of Sydney.
Prior to coming to the Bar, Alex worked as a solicitor at King & Wood Mallesons in litigation, finance, and building and construction matters. He was previously Associate to the Hon Justice DC Rangiah of the Federal Court of Australia.
