Paul was called to the bar in 2024, and has a broad commercial practice with a focus on commercial litigation, building and construction, insolvency, corporations, trade practices, estates and trusts, administrative (public) law and regulatory, banking and finance, and insurance.

Prior to being called to the bar, Paul was a solicitor for 11 years, most recently as a Special Counsel and working in market leading boutique and national firms.

Paul holds a Bachelor of Arts (Linguistics) from the University of Queensland and Bachelor of Laws from the Queensland University of Technology. He was admitted as a solicitor of the Supreme Court of Queensland and High Court of Australia in July 2013.
