Lachlan has a broad commercial practice with a focus on construction and infrastructure, energy and resources, business and contractual disputes and professional negligence claims.
Lachlan regularly acts for parties in all forms of dispute resolution including litigation in State and Federal (non-appellate) jurisdictions, arbitration (having experience with the ICC, ACICA and CIETAC rules), expert determination and adjudication (under the various security of payment regimes across Australia).
Prior to being called to the Bar, Lachlan worked as a senior associate at Corrs Chambers Westgarth. In that role, Lachlan acted for clients in complex disputes before the Australian courts and international commercial arbitration tribunals.
Lachlan graduated with a Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Business (Finance) in 2013 and was admitted as a lawyer in 2014. He is currently completing a Master of Laws at the University of Melbourne.
